From what I can see, I like…
We agree. To be shown at the Chicago Auto Show at the start of February 2008, this is the new Dodge Challenger SRT-8. From what we can see there are plenty of of hat-tips to the original, such as the rectangular exhausts the size of letter boxes (although they usually came in pairs) and a rear lip spoiler like the one on the tail of the 1970 Challenger T/A.
It's the 40th anniversary of Nissan's iconic Z car. You can join the celebration with a special-edition Web-zine created by the editors of AutoWeek. A great historical compilation from the AW archives, this special issue will take you from the Fairlady to the latest 370Z, with the race cars in between.
This summer marks the centennial of when Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie separately registered their company logos in 1909. In celebration of the occasion, Mercedes has revealed a CL 500 “100 years of the trademark” anniversary edition. Daimler's was the Mercedes Star, while Benz's was “Benz” set in the center of a laurel wreath.
